Stopping reading a bad book is good advice. I used to struggle through garbage books because either I'd bought the damn things or the book was well-regarded/recommended. I drop them pretty handily now.

I've been getting up at 5am for the last 3 weeks instead of charging out the door 45 minutes after waking. Time enough for a one hour workout, decent breakfast, check of the news/weather/stocks and a good chat with the husband before 8am. Don't know if I can keep it up, but so far it's great.

I totally agree that TV is the main time killer. For others movies or gaming is very consuming as well.

But check your personal email just once a day, I don't disagree it eats up time, but ouch that's a hard one to live by.

Tim

Here's something for financial bloggers to think about.

If you were prepared to risk your financial future completely (however you want to define that), what could you do to maximize your potential benefit from this Bear Market? Further, how much farther ahead do you estimate you could be in say 10 years from now, in terms of net worth, if you were right/lucky... and it paid off big time?

Remember...the Bear is not a problem...it is an opportunity.
