I've learned so much from Syd and from all of the other great sites like this that I'm being led to. I started blogging about women and retirement two months ago (I have two more months to go until I retire) and it's been the support of other women that's been helping me figure out not so much the financial pieces connected to retirement (I'm a public servant type with a good pension)as with the personal adjustments and travails of entering a whole new part of life. It's one I'm really looking forward to for sure. Great interview. I’ve learned so much from Syd and from all of the other great sites like this that I’m being led to. Now it is not to say your goals have to be huge or anything (after all I would say blogging counts) but something to drive you a bit would be a good idea over the long haul. At the start, hell, give yourself a year to decompress and relax. Work sucks and it takes a while to purge that feeling. Then you can think about some goals. Syd, Not a problem.
