I've been trying to get my partner to have a weekly meal plan but she's more spur of the moment.

The one thing we've done that seems to help save a lot of time and some $ is to make really big dinners then eat it for a 2nd night or lunches.

For example on Wednesday we made a huge turkey tetrazzini dish that has become 2 lunches and another serving will be frozen for easy re-heat later.
